Dr. Simona Bartos is a dermatologist providing multiple dermatological services including cosmetic procedures, skin cancer screenings and surgeries, and general dermatology for all ages.
Dr. Bartos graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she obtained a master’s degree in public health as well as a doctoral degree in medicine.
Her internship was completed at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She then trained at Skin and Cancer Associates in Plantation Florida, completing a fellowship in melanoma and pigmented lesion dermoscopy with the world-renowned Dr. Rarold Rabinovitz. Dr. Bartos then went on to complete 3 years of specialized dermatology training at Larkin Community Hospital, Miami, Florida.
While Dr. Bartos was attending Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine she became a published author of multiple research studies. Her personal research interests include Breast Cancer-associated Lymphedema as well as Psoriasis. During her time at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida she continued her research and presented her findings at national and international meetings. Dr. Bartos invested personally in the mentoring of residents and medical students and received the coveted Evangelos G. Poulos Excellence in Dermatology Award.
Dr. Bartos is known by patients for her warm bedside manner that is enriched by her passion for Dermatology. She is delighted to join our team here at the Rendon Center, and we are so excited to have her.
