Christina Smitley, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She scored in the top six percent of examinees nationwide on her certification exam. Christina is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in both New York and Florida. Her Master of Science in Nursing was completed at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky where she is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Her nursing education was received through Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida, where she also worked for five years. Christina received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Education from the University of Florida.
She graduated Cum Laude and was an active member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. Christina selected dermatology as her field after combating cystic acne and skin cancer. She comes to Rendon Center with experience in adult and pediatric dermatology from Miami and New York City, where she worked closely with board-certified dermatologists and MOHs surgeons to ensure that all skin related concerns were evaluated and treated with the best quality care.
She treats a wide variety of skin related conditions such as acne, vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, cysts, and other skin related concerns. As a nurse practitioner, Christina prides herself in providing the highest level of compassionate care to her patients. She volunteers with local breast cancer organizations and counsels women going through mastectomies. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, scuba diving, bicycling, running, traveling, and Gator football.
