Dr. Chere R. Lucas is a board certified Dermatologist practicing with Dr. Marta Rendon at the Rendon Center, in Boca Raton. She performs adult and pediatric dermatology, surgical dermatology and cosmetic services.
Dr. Lucas attended Dartmouth College and graduated with a bachelor degree in Anthropology modified with Biology. She received her degree in medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. After completing an internal medicine internship in Seatlle, Washington at Virginia Mason Medical Center, Dr. Lucas received her dermatology training from Case Western University/University Hospitals of Cleveland.
During her time at Duke University, Dr. Chere Lucas was granted a Stead Fellowship or her research in melanoma and subsequent publications. While at Case /University Hospitals of Cleveland, she researched and published on the topic of protection and repair of ultraviolet damage. She has presented a variety of topics on both the local and national level. At the Dermatology and Aesthetic Center, Dr. Lucas continues to blend clinical research with patient care.
