| “True Beauty” Pop Up Art Exhibition Benefiting The Spirit of Giving Network |
| Boca Raton, Fla. (January 24, 2012) The Rendon Center for Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine partnered with The Spirit of Giving Network for a month long “True Beauty: An International Art Exhibition”; a small part of an extraordinary collection belonging to an anonymous private collector exhibited at Mizner Park in Boca Raton. The VIP Reception, held Thursday January 19, 2011 was a resounding success. This one time opportunity to view the art benefits the 60-plus charities in the Spirit of Giving Network (a collaborative, non-profit organization with a focus on children and families in Southern Palm Beach.)
In attendance were the featured artists, patrons and sponsors to enjoy a tremendous selection of diverse paintings and drawings. Additionally, a silent auction was held at the close of the evening for several select pieces that were on display. Proceeds were donated directly to the Spirit of Giving Network. “We were delighted to be a part of the event, the evening was quite memorable,” said Marta I. Rendon, MD, event co-sponsor. “The artists were all in attendance to personally discuss their work, which made the experience extra special for our attendees.” The Spirit of Giving Gallery will be open in Mizner Park through the month of January from 11 am- 8 pm daily and all are welcome. |

| Dr. Rendon sums up Republican canidates |
| Last night Dr. Rendon took a break from her busy schedule to watch the Republican National debate on television. Although she was eager to hear more about each Presidential hopeful’s political platform and how they would address certain controversies circulating in the media (ahem….Mr. Cain,) Dr. Rendon with her aesthetic eye, couldn’t help but evaluate each candidates facial irregularities.
So, while each candidate debated why he or she was the best choice to run the country, Dr. Rendon gave each one a mental cosmetic consultation in her head. Here is what she would suggest for each: Mitt Romney –The former governor of Massachusetts has a very low set of eyebrows. When they are raised you can see his eyes much better. I’d suggest just a hint of Botox and/or Dysport to help him achieve this look so he can better connect with viewers. Otherwise, he is a very aesthetically balanced male, and fits the “golden rule” standard (the golden-ration proportion used to judge beauty.) Newt Gingrich -His neck is bulging out of his collar, I’d recommend a neck liposuction as soon as possible. And, while, going under the knife, I’d say a facelift would also be in order, to help lift those dangling jowl lines. Or, maybe just step it up one size larger on the collar size, Newt.
Michele Bachmann – The congresswomen’s right eyebrow sits higher than her left one, which has a slightly droopy eyelid too. That could easily be evened-out with some Botox or Dysport. Her aesthetic doctors were on the right track however, she looked the best she ever has last night.

Rick Perry- I noticed the Texan governor has a growth on his left lower eyebrow; it’s all I could focus on when he was talking. Although it is most likely a benign lesion, I would suggest having it removed for cosmetic reasons. Also, it looks like he has spent way too much time on his ranch without wearing any sunscreen (for shame Rick!,) a few sessions of chemical peels would help smooth out that sun-damaged on his skin. His deep facial lines can be softened with gentle filler injections as well.
Herman Cain- The CEO of Godfather’s Pizza has very noticeable wrinkles on his forehead, again nothing a little Botox or Dysport couldn’t cure. Also, he has some pretty deep Nasolabial folds. I’d start him off with a couple of treatments with of filler like Restylane, Juvederm, or Radiesse to help fill in that line and give him a more refreshed appearance. At the end of the day, I’m sure Republican voters will put more weight on where each candidate stands on the most pertinent issues than how many wrinkles they have on their forehead. Needless to say though, minimal, non-invasive minor procedures can make a big difference in all these candidates facial appearance. Why not have something good to say and look good doing so? Can’t hurt right?
